Pets, smoking, parties and events are prohibited. Parties or events can lead to immediate eviction and charges for damages or cleaning. Children aged 2–12 and infants under 2 are welcome. City tax is not included, varies per person per night and must be paid in advance. Initial supplies are provided for the first few days only.
Getting there
The apartment is on the first floor, accessed by narrow stairs without an elevator. Thin walls mean neighbours may be audible. Parking in Alfama is difficult because of narrow streets; some on-street parking is available, with nearby secure car parks as an alternative. Walking and public transport are recommended for exploring the neighbourhood. Lisbon Cathedral and São Jorge Castle are a short walk away.
