House rules

Reservations require approval before confirmation. The primary renter must be at least 30 years old. Smoking and pets are prohibited. Additional guests and events require express approval. Events, commercial activities, other non-traditional uses and rotating groups during a stay require prior written host approval; additional fees and/or an increased security deposit may apply. Utility fees are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage. For reservations longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. Unless otherwise stated, payments are non-refundable. If cancellation dates are reopened at the owner's discretion and successfully rebooked for the original dates at the same or a higher price, a refund less a 20% penalty on the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the replacement booking. If no replacement booking is made, guests may use their original dates provided payments follow the agreed schedule and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before the reservation begins. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; payments over $3,500 must be made by check, ACH or wire. In lieu of a security deposit, the property includes up to $25,000 in damage protection, subject to the booking agreement. Approved special uses may still require an increased security deposit. The owner may need to show the property to prospective renters or buyers, with advance notice and efforts to schedule reasonable daytime hours.

Getting there

The property is not handicap accessible. Nearby beaches include Cooper's Beach, Flying Point Beach, Halsey Neck Beach, Cryder Beach and Little Plains Beach. Restaurants, shops, galleries, golf courses and beaches are a short drive away. Outside Memorial Day to Labor Day, inquire before booking about pool availability and outdoor furniture and equipment.
