The house

The villa has views of Steamboat Springs Ski Resort and Emerald Mountain from much of the house. Its garden patio is surrounded by mature evergreen and deciduous trees and includes a shaded grotto, fountain, grill and outdoor dining set. The south-facing second-floor balcony has a covered dining area, grill and fire pit, with a vantage point for town fireworks and listening to summer concerts. A covered all-season balcony with seating faces north, while the third-floor suite has its own private balcony with a resort view.

The open living area includes a fireplace, seating, smart TV and grand piano. One bedroom has an electric keyboard. The full kitchen includes stainless steel appliances, a stove and oven, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, kitchen basics and a dining area. An indoor ski locker provides dry storage for skis, bikes and gear.

Wi-Fi, a dedicated workspace, a washer and dryer, bed linens, towels, toiletries, a hair dryer and hangers are provided. The home has hot water, a private entrance and self check-in. Other facilities include a video library and a playground or play area. Safety equipment includes smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, a fire extinguisher and a first aid kit. There is no air-conditioning.

Downtown restaurants, taverns, galleries, shops, Old Town Hot Springs and a bus stop are within walking distance. The Yampa River and Core Trail can be reached on foot for tubing, biking or blading; Howelsen Hill offers skiing, biking and an alpine slide. Steamboat Pro Rodeo is four blocks away. Sailor Way off-leash dog park, with access to Spring Creek Trail, and the free bus to Steamboat Resort are each one block away.
