The house

The terrace retains a lacework balcony, arched entry, stained-glass windows and polished timber floors. The living room has a decorative cast-iron fireplace, white panelling, antique furnishings and a wall-mounted TV.

The fully equipped kitchen includes a stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher and Nespresso machine, with an adjacent dining nook. The primary bedroom has a queen bed and decorative fireplace. The second bedroom has a single bed, casual workspace and laundry facilities, and opens onto a private balcony with a leafy outlook. The full bathroom includes a small pink bathtub. A washing machine, dryer, hair dryer and iron are available. Portable heating serves the living area and bedrooms, and there is a ceiling fan.

King Street and Enmore Road, with cafés, restaurants, bars and boutique shops, are a two-minute stroll away. Enmore Theatre is nearby for live music and comedy. Newtown Station is a five-minute walk away and provides access to the CBD.

The guest accommodation occupies only the upper floor of the two-storey house. The lower ground floor is occupied under a long-term rental, and ground-level outdoor areas are not accessible to guests. Guests must climb stairs, and there is no on-site parking. Fire safety equipment includes a smoke detector, fire extinguisher and first aid kit.
