# Spectacular in Southampton Southampton, NY, United States (general area) ## About the house The approximately 8,316-square-foot estate has formal living and dining rooms, a main-level den, a chef’s kitchen with high-end appliances and a large island, and sliding and retractable glass doors connecting indoor spaces to the gardens. A lower-level gym and movie den, dedicated home office, central air conditioning, heating, Wi-Fi, television, washer and dryer support longer stays. Bed linens, bath towels, pool/beach towels and a hair dryer are provided. A crib and ironing board are not available. Outside are a private heated pool, hot tub, chaise loungers, a covered pavilion, deck, patio, outdoor dining table and built-in gas barbecue. The backyard is fenced, but the pool is not fenced. Parking is available for family and guests. Five upstairs bedrooms each have a king bed and ensuite bathroom. The primary suite also has a private terrace, fireplace, two walk-in closets and a marble bathroom with a soaking tub and glass shower. The main-floor junior primary bedroom has one queen bed and an ensuite bathroom; the lower-level bedroom has two queen beds and an ensuite bathroom. All seven bedrooms have air conditioning and closets. An additional main-floor full bathroom is accessible from the patio and laundry room, and a main-floor powder room provides the remaining half bathroom. Southampton Village’s boutiques, galleries and restaurants are minutes away. Coopers Beach and Cryder Beach are a short drive away. Spring cleaning and updates typically take place in late April or early May. The primary renter must be at least 30 years old. Smoking is not allowed. Pets are strictly prohibited. If the owner elects to reopen canceled dates and the property is rebooked for the original dates at the same or a higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the replacement reservation. Rebooking is not guaranteed. If it is not rebooked, the original guest may use the original dates provided scheduled payments have been made and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before the reservation starts. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; larger payments must be made by check, ACH or wire.
