Neighborhood

A quiet, leafy residential street in the Riddlesdown area of Purley, on the southern edge of Greater London. Riddlesdown Common, a large area of woodland and chalk grassland with far-reaching views, is close by for walks. Purley town centre has cafes, restaurants, shops and supermarkets, and there is a Tesco Hypermarket nearby for the weekly shop.

Other things to note

The entrance is up a flight of steps from the street and the house is on several levels with internal stairs, so it is not step-free. No smoking anywhere in the property, and no parties or events. It is a quiet residential street, so we ask guests to keep noise down after 10pm. Bed linen, towels, tea, coffee and kitchen essentials are provided.

Getting Around

Riddlesdown station is the nearest, with Southern trains towards East Croydon and central London. Purley station is also close, with frequent services to London Bridge and Victoria, and Gatwick Airport is reachable by train via East Croydon. Buses serve the surrounding roads, and the house has its own driveway if you arrive by car.
