House rules

Maximum four guests; no additional guests. No pets, smoking, parties or events. Children aged 2–12 and infants under two are welcome. All guests must present valid identification before check-in for registration with the Portuguese security authorities. Keys are collected from a lockbox and must be returned to the same lockbox at checkout. A €50 fee applies for lockouts or failure to return keys; losing a set of keys incurs an €80 fee. Using more than two high-wattage appliances simultaneously may trip the electricity; a €40 charge applies if electricity trips due to overuse. Turn off lights and electrical appliances when leaving. A city tax may apply, is excluded from the booking price, and is collected before check-in on a per-person, per-night basis according to local regulations. Supplies are provided only for the first days.

Getting there

The apartment is on the first floor, with an elevator in the building. Neighbouring apartment noise may be audible. A car is not needed for the nearby restaurants and cafés. Santa Justa Elevator is 50 metres away; the elevators toward Santa Cruz do Castelo are five minutes away, and Praça do Comércio is two minutes away. Hot water capacity is limited, with reheating time needed after it runs out.
