The house

This extended, open-plan home has exposed red brick, wooden beams, high ceilings and underfloor heating throughout. A front window overlooks the Irish Sea, and the dining area seats six beside the upgraded kitchen. A separate rear living area has a TV and floor-to-ceiling glass doors opening onto an enclosed, stone-walled garden with outdoor seating, a dining area and a BBQ.

All three bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms. A double bedroom is on the ground floor. Upstairs, the front bedroom has sea views, while the largest bedroom is at the rear, at the top of the stairs. Guests have access to the entire property and the garage.

The stay is fully self-catered, with Wi-Fi, hotel-quality bed linen and towels, professional cleaning and 24/7 guest support. A coffee maker, hot water, room-darkening shades, fireplace guards, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, a fire extinguisher and a first aid kit are provided. Salt, pepper, cooking oil and toiletries may be provided, but are not guaranteed.

The home is between Howth and Portmarnock, with coastal walks nearby. Sutton DART station is 1.8 km away, a three-minute drive or a 20-minute walk. Dublin City Centre is around 30 minutes away by DART.
