The house

Snowcano Cottage has two bedrooms with one queen-size bed each and a third bedroom with two bunk beds. The bathroom contains a hand basin, toilet, bath and shower. A ground-floor bedroom and a garden/patio are available.

The open-plan living, dining and kitchen area includes a heat pump and wood-burning fireplace. Entertainment includes Apple TV, a TV, DVD player, Wi-Fi, books, board games, jigsaws and DVDs. The fully equipped kitchen has an oven, hobs, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, toaster, kettle and coffee machine. A washing machine and tumble dryer are provided.

Linen is included: sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats and tea towels. Pillows and duvets are provided, and beds are made before arrival and stripped after departure. Off-road parking is available, and pets are allowed. There is no pool or hot tub.

The cottage is in rural surroundings, a five-minute drive from Ohakune Mountain Road and 25 minutes from the ski-field car park. Ohakune is a five-minute drive away, with cafes, bars and local shops. Ruapehu Homestead Horse Treks is around the corner.
