## About the house

The living area has a wood fire, books and board games, with Wi-Fi available. An electric panel heater is also provided. The equipped kitchen includes an oven, hobs, microwave, fridge, freezer, toaster and kettle, alongside a wooden dining table. There is a garden/patio, off-road parking and covered parking suitable for a boat. Linen is included.

Bedrooms 1 and 2 each have a king-size bed. Bedroom 3 has a single bed and a pull-out bed; Bedroom 4 has two bunk beds. The bathroom has a hand basin, bath, shower and toilet. One bedroom is on the ground floor; three bedrooms are reached by a steep, narrow staircase that may not suit some guests.

The home is within Fairlie township, a short drive from local cafes and amenities. Fairlie Bakehouse, Eat Café and a local laundromat are nearby. Mount Dobson Ski Field is around 30 minutes away; Fox Peak is approximately 50 minutes by car. Round Hill Ski Area is about 1 hour 15 minutes away, and Ohau Snow Fields roughly 1 hour 45 minutes away. Tekapo, with hot pools and an ice rink, is just over 30 minutes away; Aoraki / Mount Cook National Park can be reached in under two hours. Lake Opuha is a 13-minute drive away, and Four Peaks High Country Track is around 18 minutes away by car.
