The house

The coastal-themed apartment has a northerly aspect, two opposing furnished balconies and filtered water views towards both beaches from the north balcony. The open-plan lounge and dining area has a smart TV, Bluetooth sound bar, unlimited Wi-Fi and reverse-cycle air-conditioning. A gas Weber-style barbecue is available for outdoor dining.

The kitchen includes a breakfast bar with stools, microwave, full-sized fridge-freezer, oven, stovetop, coffee machine, dishwasher, toaster, dishes and silverware. Bedroom 1 has one queen bed; Bedroom 2 has two single beds and an additional TV in the wardrobe for game-console use. Both bedrooms have carpet, plantation shutters and ceiling fans.

The bathroom has a freestanding bathtub and open shower, with the toilet in a separate room. An internal laundry is concealed behind sliding glass doors in the bathroom; a washer and dryer are provided. Linen, bed making and towels are included. Smoke alarms are fitted. Parking includes a single lock-up garage and an additional off-street space suitable for a second car or boat; free street parking is also available. Children aged 2–12 and infants under 2 are welcome.

Shoal Bay Beach is 100 m away and Little Beach is 300 m away via direct walking access. Little Beach has shaded grassed areas, barbecues, picnic tables and a playground. Little Beach Lighthouse is within walking distance, 800 m from the apartment. Nelson Bay and Shoal Bay centres are a short 2 km drive away.
