# Shipwreck Beach House Amagansett, NY, United States (general area) ## About the house This approximately 3,300-square-foot house combines wood and stone finishes. The chef’s kitchen has white marble, island seating and stainless steel appliances. The open living area has a large plasma TV; the living and dining areas overlook and open onto the back deck. A gas-burning fireplace, heating, central air conditioning, Wi-Fi and a laptop-friendly workspace are provided. The kitchen includes a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, ice maker, coffee equipment, toaster, blender, cookware, dishes and silverware. Linens, bath towels, pool/beach towels, a hair dryer, iron and ironing board, washer and dryer are supplied. The primary bedroom is upstairs with a king bed, ensuite bathroom and TV. A main-floor bedroom and a second upstairs bedroom each have a double/full bed, queen bed and twin/single bed. All three bedrooms have air conditioning; the second upstairs bedroom also has a full ensuite bathroom. There are three full bathrooms and one half bathroom. Outside are a deck with a gas grill, patio furniture with a table, chairs and umbrella, seven lounge chairs, two beach chairs, a beach umbrella and a hot-and-cold outdoor shower. The yard is fenced. Driveway parking accommodates four cars. The private outdoor pool is heated and subject to seasonal availability. The homeowner handles on-the-ground operations and guest communication after booking confirmation through the Elite program. Reservations require approval before confirmation. Maximum occupancy is six; no additional guests beyond this limit are permitted. Smoking is not allowed. Events are prohibited. Event-related reservations, commercial activities, other non-traditional uses and rotating groups during the same stay require prior written host approval and may incur additional fees or an increased security deposit. Pets require owner approval. The dog approval fee is $100 per dog per booking; additional fees and/or a security deposit may apply. Utilities are included, but guests are responsible for excessive use, defined as utility costs over $100.00 per night of the reservation. One end-of-stay cleaning is included. For stays longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest’s expense. Payments are generally non-refundable. If the owner agrees to reopen canceled dates and the property is rebooked for the original dates at the same or a higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the replacement reservation is collected. If no replacement reservation is made, guests may use their original dates provided payments follow the booking schedule and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before arrival. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; payments over $3,500 must be made by check, ACH or wire. In lieu of a security deposit, the property has up to $25,000 of damage protection, subject to the booking agreement.
