The house

This historic, stone-fronted cottage has three bedrooms and two modern bathrooms, with exposed stone walls, ceiling beams and wooden floors. Guests have access to the full property.

The living area has leather seating, a smart TV, a feature fireplace and a woodburning stove. Books and board games are available. A well-equipped kitchen and a dining area provide space for meals together. Amenities include a bathtub, bed linens, body soap and a carbon monoxide detector.

The harbour, shops and cafés of Staithes are a short stroll away. Whitby railway station is a 20-minute drive away, with direct services to destinations across Northern England. The X4 bus serves Loftus, Saltburn-by-the-Sea, Redcar and Whitby. Pay-and-display parking is available in Staithes. Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome per reservation.
