The beachfront setting offers shoreline access, water views and a gas grill for outdoor meals. Parking and a detached garage are available, and the home has a private entrance. Restaurants, shops, galleries, golf courses and beaches are a short drive away. The homeowner manages on-the-ground operations and guest communication after booking confirmation as part of the Elite program. Following cancellation, Marquis will use best efforts to work with the owner to reopen the dates, at the owner's discretion. If the original dates are rebooked at the same or a higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the replacement reservation is collected. If no replacement reservation is made, guests may use their original dates provided scheduled payments have been made and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before the reservation starts. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; payments over $3,500 must be made by check, ACH or wire. In lieu of a security deposit, the property has up to $25,000 in damage protection, with coverage details in the booking agreement. The owner may show the property to prospective renters or buyers, with advance notice and efforts to schedule during reasonable daytime hours.
