# Shinnecock Drift Retreat Hampton Bays, NY, United States (general area) ## About the house The home accommodates up to eight guests and has an open-plan living room, dining area and equipped kitchen with modern appliances and a coffee maker. Two bedrooms are on the main floor: Bedroom 1 has a queen bed, and Bedroom 2 has a double/full bed and a standard closet. The main-floor den provides an additional queen bed. Upstairs, Bedroom 4 has a queen bed, standard closet and balcony/deck. There is a full bathroom with a shower on each floor. Outside are a private heated freshwater pool with surrounding fencing, lounge chairs, an uncovered patio with a table, chairs and umbrella, a gas grill, a hot-and-cold outdoor shower and a wood-burning fire pit. Bicycles and a kayak/canoe are available. Indoors, amenities include Wi-Fi, a washer and dryer, heating, a wood-burning fireplace, television and fitness equipment. Bed linens, bath towels, pool/beach towels, a hair dryer and ironing equipment are provided. A bay beach is one block away. Ponquogue Beach, Meschutt Beach and Tiana Town Beach are nearby. Hampton Bays and Southampton offer restaurants, shops, art galleries and golf courses. If no replacement reservation is made, guests may use their original dates provided scheduled payments are made and written notice is given at least 72 hours before the reservation starts. Balance payments by credit card are capped at $3,500; larger payments must be made by check, ACH or wire. In lieu of a security deposit, the property has up to $25,000 in damage protection, subject to the booking agreement. The owner may show the property to prospective renters or buyers, with efforts to provide advance notice and schedule showings during reasonable daytime hours.
