Reservations involving events, commercial activities, other non-traditional uses or rotating guest groups require prior written host approval and may incur additional fees or an increased security deposit. Reservations require approval before confirmation. Utility fees are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage, defined as utility costs over $100.00 per reservation night. For stays longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. An additional security deposit may be considered for longer-term rentals. If the original dates are rebooked at the same or a higher price, a refund less a 20% penalty on the total reservation amount is issued after the replacement reservation is paid in full. If not rebooked, guests may use their original dates if payments comply with the agreed schedule and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before the reservation begins. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; payments above $3,500 must be by check, ACH or wire.
