# Serenity Way East Hampton, NY, United States (general area) ## About the house Serenity Way sits at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, a five-minute drive from the town of East Hampton. The approximately 1,400-square-foot home has bright living spaces, white furnishings and nautical decor in blue and neutral tones. A sitting room with a usable fireplace leads to spaces for relaxing indoors and outdoors. All three bedrooms are on the first/main floor of the main house, each with one queen bed and air conditioning. The primary bedroom has a full ensuite bathroom. Both full bathrooms have shower/tub combinations. Maximum occupancy is four guests. The well-equipped kitchen includes a refrigerator, stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, drip coffee maker, toaster, cookware, dishes and silverware. Other facilities include central air conditioning, heating, Wi-Fi, a laptop-friendly workspace, washer and dryer, television with cable and smart-TV features, and a Sonos speaker system. Bed linens, bath towels, pool/beach towels, a hair dryer and ironing equipment are provided. The screened-in porch opens onto a roomy deck. Outdoor facilities include a private heated pool, covered deck/patio, gas grill, lounge chairs, patio table, chairs and umbrella, and an outdoor shower with hot and cold water. Parking and a private entrance are available. Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors and a fire extinguisher are provided. It is not suitable for multiple families or children, and no crib is provided. The property is not wheelchair accessible. Outside Memorial Day to Labor Day, inquire before booking about outdoor furniture and equipment availability; spring cleaning and updates typically occur in late April or early May. Maximum occupancy is four. The primary renter must be at least 30 years old. Pets and smoking are prohibited. Reservations require approval before confirmation. Utility fees are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage, defined as utility costs over $85.00 per night of the reservation. One end-of-stay cleaning is included. For stays longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. Events, commercial activities, other non-traditional uses and rotating groups of guests require prior written host approval. Additional fees and/or an increased security deposit may apply. In lieu of a standard security deposit, the property has up to $25,000 in damage protection; coverage details are in the booking agreement. Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. Following cancellation, Marquis will use best efforts to work with the owner to reopen and rebook the dates, at the owner's discretion. If the original dates are rebooked at the same or a higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the original total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the replacement reservation is collected. If no replacement reservation is made, guests may use their original dates provided scheduled payments are fulfilled and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before the reservation begins. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; larger payments must be made by check, ACH or wire.
