A wrap-around Trex deck provides outdoor dining space and a Weber propane grill. The main level has hardwood floors, an open living area and a local-stone fireplace with a wood-burning stove insert. The family and dining areas overlook the surrounding scenery, and the living room has a Smart TV. Heating is available.

The main-level primary bedroom has a king-size platform bed, a tongue-and-groove ceiling and panoramic windows. The smaller bedroom has a trundle setup that can be arranged as twin beds or a king-size sleeping arrangement. Bedrooms include linens, towels, pillows and comforters.

The fully equipped kitchen includes a restored Kelvinator range, quartz countertops, a breakfast bar, microwave, coffee press, blender and spices. The lower level has an office with two workspaces and a full laundry room. Free Wi-Fi and free private parking are available.

Beach access involves 147 steep stairs that are dangerous when wet; groups with children should take particular care. The property is tiered, with stairs between parking and the home. The garden steps from the parking area to the front door have no hand railings. Parking accommodates two vehicles per reservation, but large SUVs, trucks and larger automobiles will not fit. Naval flight training may be loud on a few weekdays each month and occasionally in the evening. Training does not take place on weekends or holidays; schedules are typically published one week ahead.

The booking guest must be at least 21 years old. Maximum occupancy is four people; infants, children and visitors all count toward this limit, which must not be exceeded at any time. Pets are not permitted, and unauthorized pets may incur a fine. This is a smoke-free home: smoking violations incur a $500 additional-cleaning and related-cost fee, plus responsibility for smoking damage beyond that fee. Be considerate of neighbors and keep noise levels down; noise violations may incur fines. Speakers and sound systems are not provided. Bookings over 28 days require a security deposit charged after booking.
