The house

The renovated apartment occupies an ancient noble palace and overlooks the Grand Harbor. The living room has sofas, a dining table, a television and a piano. A separate equipped kitchen has its own dining table, and a service bathroom has an attached laundry area.

The sleeping area comprises a master bedroom with an ensuite bathroom, a second bedroom with a queen-size bed, and a third bedroom with two single beds. There is also a third bathroom with a shower. The apartment has four beds in total: two queen-size beds and two single beds.

Air conditioning, Wi-Fi, a washing machine and an iron are available. Kitchen equipment includes a moka coffee maker, microwave, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer and juicer. A hairdryer is provided.

Ortigia has the Zefiro and Nettuno solariums and the small free beach of Cala Rossa. Other beaches in the surrounding area include Minareto, Fanusa, Arenella and Fontane Bianche. Cultural visits include the Greek theatre and archaeological park of Syracuse, the Ear of Dionysius, the Paolo Orsi museum and the Latomie dei Cappuccini.

Catania Fontanarossa Airport is approximately 60 km away and Comiso Pio La Torre Airport is 110 km away. Syracuse railway station and the interbus station with airport connections are approximately 1 km from Ortigia. A tourist tax may be payable before or upon arrival, depending on local regulations.
