The house

The estate accommodates up to 12 guests across three primary bedrooms, a twin bedroom and two detached cottage bedrooms. The main residence features vaulted ceilings, a two-story sandstone fireplace built around the original blacksmith's furnace, generous sofas and multiple dining areas. An original three-story farm water tower stands beside the home.

The professional kitchen includes stainless steel appliances, wide counters, an espresso machine, ice machine, coffee grinder, dishwasher, oven and other cooking equipment. A separate outdoor kitchen has seating and a 50-inch television. Both detached cottages have kitchenettes, sofas and televisions; the pool cottage also has a private entrance.

Outdoor facilities include a private heated pool with a lap lane and Baja shelf, a built-in spa seating up to 10, dry and steam barrel saunas, a poolside cabana, pergola and fire pits. The grounds contain vegetable and herb gardens, berry vines, citrus trees and garden paths. Recreation includes bocce ball, badminton, darts, ping-pong, swings, play structures, yard games and an in-ground trampoline. Beach towels, beach mats and boogie boards are provided.

Daily housekeeping is included, and a caretaker is available during the stay. Arrival supplies include paper products, soaps, laundry detergent and hotel-size shampoo and conditioner. The estate has two gated vehicle entrances and a private entrance. Entertainment equipment includes televisions, a Sonos audio system and printer/scanner/fax. Heating, a washer and dryer, linens, hair dryers and an iron are available. Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, a first-aid kit, fire extinguisher and outdoor lighting are provided.

Hammond's Beach and the restaurants and shops of Coast Village Road are within walking distance.
