## About the house

Scandelaia is a private historic stone villa with six bedrooms for up to twelve guests. It has large living and dining rooms, a kitchen, terraced gardens, woodland, a botanical garden, outdoor dining and seating areas, and a large terraced pool. The villa has two floors connected by an internal staircase and an additional tower room. Caretakers live in a separate annexe and manage the grounds and pool.

The rectangular pool is on a lower terrace approximately 30 m from the villa, reached by two separate flights of steps. It measures 17 by 5 m, has a depth of 1.5 m in the centre and 2.5 m at both ends, Roman steps with a handrail, salt purification, internal lighting and a night cover. It is open from the last Saturday in April until the first Saturday in October.

The villa is reached via 1.6 km of unpaved road. The pool is on a lower terrace approximately 30 m from the villa and is accessed by two flights of steps. San Gusmè is 4 km away, Castelnuovo Berardenga is 9 km away, and Siena is 28 km away.

The property is available as a private structure for lease only. Parties, events and visitors exceeding the maximum guest limit are forbidden without prior written authorization and agreed terms. Unauthorised chefs and suppliers are not permitted. Pets are allowed, with mandatory extra cleaning charged per animal per week or part of a week.
