Questions
Questions guests ask before booking
Answered by the host; the same facts Chucho uses.
Where is Sausage Tree Safari Camp?
It is inside Olifants West Nature Reserve, part of Greater Kruger, in Limpopo, South Africa. The camp gives its address as 25 Cambridge, Olifants West Nature Reserve, Hoedspruit, 1380.
How do we get to camp?
Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport is about a 45-minute road transfer away, and the camp can arrange a transfer. Self-driving from Johannesburg takes around five hours via the N4 and R40. The last few kilometres are gravel, and a saloon car can manage them.
Is there phone signal and Wi-Fi at camp?
Wi-Fi is included and reaches the tents and communal areas; it is suitable for messaging, email and light browsing. Cell reception is variable but usually workable on the decks.
Is there a laundry service?
Laundry is available at an extra charge. Ask the team on arrival to arrange it.
Are drinks included?
The sundowner drink on the afternoon game drive is included, as are tea, coffee and filtered water throughout the day. Bar drinks, including spirits, wine, beer and soft drinks, are charged extra to your room account.
