What staying here is like
Salt & Sun Orewa is a furnished three-level beach apartment about 50 steps from the sand at Orewa Beach, north of Auckland. It has three bedrooms and two bathrooms: the top-floor main bedroom has beach views (its super king can become two long singles for stays of a week or more), the queen bedroom overlooks the pool, and the ground-floor bedroom has an ensuite with shower; the upstairs bathroom has a shower over the bath. The lounge, kitchen and dining area are on the middle floor. The complex has a swimming pool, and there's garage parking for one small car plus a space outside. Cafés, shops and restaurants are a short stroll away, and the local hosts are happy to help with fresh flowers and local tips.
