House rules

Maximum occupancy is eight; no additional guests are permitted. The primary renter must be at least 30 years old. Smoking is not allowed. Events are prohibited. Events, commercial activities, rotating guest groups and other non-traditional uses require prior written host approval and may incur additional fees or an increased security deposit. One dog of 60 lbs or less is permitted for $250.00 per booking; larger dogs, multiple dogs and other pets require express approval. Utility fees are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage, defined as utility costs over $110.00 per night of the reservation. For reservations longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. If cancellation dates are reopened at the owner's discretion and rebooked for the original dates at the same or higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total reservation amount is issued after the replacement booking is paid in full. If no replacement reservation is made, guests may use their original dates if payments comply with the booking schedule and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before arrival. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; larger payments must be made by check, ACH or wire. In lieu of a security deposit, the property includes up to $25,000 of damage protection, subject to the booking agreement. The owner may arrange property showings to prospective renters or buyers, with advance notice and efforts to schedule reasonable daytime hours.

Getting there

Not handicap accessible. Not suitable for unrelated guests. Downtown Sag Harbor is a quick walk away and a few minutes away by car. Confirm outdoor furniture and equipment availability for stays outside Memorial Day to Labor Day; seasonal cleaning and updates typically occur in late April or early May.
