House rules

The primary renter must be at least 35 years old. Pets and smoking are prohibited. Additional guests require express approval. Events are prohibited; any proposed event, commercial activity, other non-traditional use or rotating guest groups requires prior written host approval and may incur additional fees and/or an increased security deposit. Bring your own rackets and balls for tennis and pickleball. Reservations require approval before confirmation. Utilities are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage, defined as utility costs over $210.00 per night of the reservation. One light cleaning per eight nights booked and one end-of-stay cleaning are included; additional requested cleanings are at the guest's expense. In lieu of a security deposit, the property has up to $25,000 of damage protection, subject to the booking agreement. Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. If a cancellation is successfully rebooked for the original dates at the same or a higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total reservation amount is issued after the replacement reservation is paid in full. Reopening dates is at the owner's discretion. If no replacement reservation is made, guests may use their original dates provided scheduled payments have been made and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before the reservation begins. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; payments over $3,500 must be made by check, ACH or wire. The owner may show the home to prospective renters or buyers, with efforts to provide advance notice and arrange reasonable daytime hours.

Getting there

The backyard is not fenced. Outdoor pools are typically available from Memorial Day to Labor Day; inquire before booking outside that period. Spring cleaning and updates typically take place in late April or early May. For stays outside Memorial Day to Labor Day, inquire before booking about outdoor furniture and equipment availability.
