The house

Floor-to-ceiling glass surrounds the bright open-plan living area, furnished with a two-seat lounge and two single lounge chairs facing a mounted flat-screen TV and the river views. Heating and cooling are available. Sliding glass doors open onto a terrace with an outdoor dining setting and barbecue, overlooking yachts, mountain sunsets and Hobart’s lights across the water.

The stone-benched kitchen has a three-seat breakfast bar, ceramic cooktop, microwave, dishwasher and cooking essentials. A separate dining table seats four. Both bedrooms have a queen bed, and the full bathroom has a glass shower and stone-topped vanity.

An in-unit laundry includes a washer and dryer. Wi-Fi, a streaming-ready smart TV and Foxtel are available, along with a hair dryer and iron. The home has a private entrance, free on-site carport parking and a smoke detector.

The home sits beside the foreshore path, with playgrounds, parks and village shops around the corner and restaurants nearby. Hobart’s CBD is a four-minute drive across the bridge.
