House rules
The property has a five-night minimum stay preferred, with shorter stays subject to inquiry and a higher cleaning fee. Six nights are required over Thanksgiving week, and seven nights are required over Christmas and New Year's week. The person booking and occupying the property must be at least 25 years old. No smoking is allowed indoors. Weddings and events of up to 50 guests require prior written approval, an event fee, and a five-night minimum stay; invited-guest events require an additional refundable $5,000 damage deposit. The Great House sleeps up to 10 adults plus two to four children in bunk beds; the Bunk Suite accommodates eight small children, four large children, or two adults. The optional cottage sleeps six guests, including up to four adults, and is never rented separately. Kayak and snorkel equipment use requires a signed waiver. Paddleboards are not recommended because of coral heads, the marine environment, and shallow water.
Getting there
The estate is oceanfront in Rum Point, with a sandy beach behind the property and the next-door beach also available. The beach has limited barefoot entry into a reef-protected marine environment; snorkel fins or foot protection are recommended for fish-watching. Rum Point Club and The Kaibo are a five-minute drive west. A rental car is highly recommended; taxi service is described as unreliable and expensive outside town and Seven Mile Beach, and there is no Uber or Lyft on the island. Parking is for four to six vehicles.
