# Ram Island Beauty Shelter Island, NY, United States (general area) ## About the house The approximately 2,160-square-foot home sits on a private, tree-lined road with gardens, a fully fenced rear yard and a fenced pool area. Outdoor facilities include a private heated gunite pool, chaise lounges, a fire pit, gas barbecue and outdoor dining. The pool generally opens from mid-May through mid-October; landscaping and outdoor furniture are available from April through October. The main house has three ensuite bedrooms: a primary bedroom with a king bed, streaming TV, a double-ended soaking tub and walk-in shower, and two guest bedrooms with queen beds. The third bedroom has a full Jack-and-Jill ensuite bathroom. A detached pool-house cabana provides the fourth sleeping space, with a full-size sleeper sofa, private shower bathroom, TV and deck. All four sleeping rooms have air conditioning and are on the first/main floor. Large windows and skylights light the interiors. A double-sided fireplace separates the formal living room and TV den. The kitchen has Wolf and Bosch appliances and a spacious island, alongside a formal dining room and marble-topped wet bar. Central air conditioning, heating, high-speed Wi-Fi, work-from-home spaces, a washer and dryer, and Sonos speakers in the house and by the pool are provided. The primary renter must be at least 25. Maximum occupancy is eight; no additional guests are permitted. Smoking is not allowed. Events are prohibited. Any proposed events, commercial activities, rotating guest groups or other non-traditional uses require prior written host approval and may incur additional fees and/or an increased security deposit. One hypoallergenic, non-shedding dog of 20 lbs or less is permitted. Other dogs, multiple dogs and all other pets require express approval; please inquire. Utilities are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage. For reservations longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. Reservations require approval before confirmation. Unless otherwise stated, payments are non-refundable. If the owner elects to reopen cancelled dates and the property is rebooked for the original dates at the same or a higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the replacement reservation is collected. If no replacement reservation is made, guests may use their original dates provided scheduled payments are complete and Marquis is notified in writing at least 72 hours before the reservation starts. Instead of a security deposit, the property includes up to $25,000 of damage protection, with coverage details in the booking agreement.
