The flat has an open-plan living area with classic furnishings and a dining table in the bay window. The main bedroom has a king-size bed, an ensuite bathroom, antiques and artworks. A second ensuite room has a daybed that can be made up for visiting guests on request.

Kitchen facilities include an electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle and toaster. A washing machine, iron and ironing board, towels, hair dryer, cable TV, sound system, ceiling fan, smoke detectors and a carbon monoxide detector are provided. The building has a lift.

The home is on the street where John Singer Sargent once had his studio, between Battersea Park and King’s Road, with Chelsea Green nearby. Sloane Square Underground station is a 15-minute walk away.

There is no air-conditioning. A bedroom fan is provided between May and September and can be requested outside that period. Communal heating is controlled by building management. Phone reception indoors is limited, and the building’s lift can occasionally be heard from inside the home.
