## About the house

The lower-ground-floor apartment combines contemporary textures, rich colours and theatrical furnishings. The sitting room has a patchwork sofa, an aged globe, a vintage typewriter and a fireplace. Abstract artwork and bright cushions feature throughout.

Each bedroom has one double bed. The master bedroom adjoins a courtyard and has a concealed ensuite, with no door separating the bedroom from the bathroom. The second bedroom has a hanging rail instead of permanent hanging space.

The monochrome kitchen includes an electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle and toaster. A washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board, TV, hair dryer and towels are provided. Bathroom facilities include a bath with shower and a shower. Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors are provided.

There is no air conditioning. Fans are provided in each bedroom between May and September; request fans for stays outside this period. Free internet is available, but mobile phone reception inside the home is limited. Stairs lead from street level to the entrance. Scaffolding on a neighbouring home may cause noise inside the apartment.
