House rules

The primary renter must be at least 25 years old. Smoking is not allowed. Additional guests and events require express approval. Events, commercial activities, rotating guest groups and other non-traditional uses require prior written host approval; additional fees and/or an increased security deposit may apply. Pets require owner approval and may incur additional fees and/or a security deposit. Children and pets are on the property at their own risk. Utilities are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage, defined as utility costs over $75.00 per night of the reservation. One light cleaning per eight nights booked and an end-of-stay cleaning are included; additional cleanings are available at guests’ expense. Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. After cancellation, reopening dates for rebooking is at the owner’s discretion. If the original dates are rebooked at the same or a higher price, a refund less a 20% penalty on the original total is issued after full payment for the replacement reservation is collected. If no replacement reservation is made, guests may use their original dates provided scheduled payments are made and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before the reservation begins. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; larger payments must be by check, ACH or wire. In lieu of a security deposit, the property has up to $25,000 of damage protection, subject to the booking agreement’s coverage details. The owner may show the property to prospective renters or buyers, with advance notice and efforts to schedule reasonable daytime visits.

Getting there

Parrish Art Museum, Duckwalk Vineyards, Shou Sugi Ban Wellness Resort & Spa and Hanks Pumpkin Patch & Apple Orchard are within walking distance. Flying Point Beach and Cooper’s Beach are nearby; cycling is suggested for beach visits. Driveway parking accommodates four cars. For stays outside Memorial Day to Labor Day, inquire before booking about outdoor furniture and equipment availability; seasonal cleaning and updates typically occur in late April or early May.
