House rules
Maximum occupancy is eight; no additional persons beyond this limit are permitted. Pets and smoking are prohibited. Events are prohibited. Events, commercial activities, rotating guest groups and other non-traditional uses require prior written host approval and may incur additional fees or an increased security deposit. Reservations require approval before confirmation. Utilities are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage, defined as utility costs over $110.00 per night of the reservation. One end-of-stay cleaning is included. For stays longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. If canceled dates are reopened at the owner's discretion and rebooked at the same or a higher price, a refund less a 20% penalty on the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the replacement reservation. If no replacement reservation is made, the original dates may still be used provided scheduled payments are complete and Marquis is notified in writing at least 72 hours before the reservation begins. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; larger payments must be made by check, ACH or wire. In lieu of a security deposit, damage protection covers up to $25,000, subject to the booking agreement. The owner may show the property to prospective renters or buyers, with efforts to provide advance notice and schedule reasonable daytime visits.
Getting there
East Hampton Village is a few minutes away by car. The home is not suitable for unrelated guests. The primary renter must be at least 35 years old. Outside Memorial Day to Labor Day, inquire before booking about pool, outdoor furniture and equipment availability; spring cleaning and updates typically take place in late April or early May.
Check dates and price before continuing with the host. A check does not reserve your stay. Confirm the terms with the host at staymarquis.com.
