The house

The apartment occupies the first floor of a building without an elevator and extends over two levels. The open-plan living area has a sofa, television, dining table and fully equipped kitchen. There are two bedrooms, each with a queen-size bed; one bedroom is on the apartment’s upper level. Two bathrooms have showers.

Air conditioning, Wi-Fi, a washing machine, iron and fans are provided. Kitchen equipment includes a coffee machine, moka pot, boiler, oven, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, toaster and juicer. A hairdryer is available.

Varenna lies on the eastern branch of Lake Como and has ferry connections to Menaggio and Bellagio. The apartment is 600 m from Varenna Pier and a 1-hour-10-minute drive from Orio al Serio Airport. Local attractions include Villa Monastero, Villa Cipressi, the Walk of the Lovers, the Castle of Vezio, the Greenway of the Patriarchs and the Wayfarer’s Path.

Arrival by car is recommended because taxis and public transport are not available for short local journeys in the accommodation’s area. A tourist tax may be payable on arrival or a few days beforehand, depending on local regulations.
