The house

This rustic farmhouse sits among grapevines on land where grapes and olives have been grown for more than 30 years. McLaren Vale's main street is five kilometres away, with cellar doors nearby. Vineyard views extend from almost every room, and kangaroos may be seen among the vines at dusk.

The living area has air conditioning, leather lounges, a flat-screen TV and a gas fireplace. The fully equipped farmhouse kitchen includes a microwave and coffee maker. An eight-seat timber dining table provides indoor dining, while the garden and large covered patio offer outdoor dining beside rows of Tempranillo grapes. Outdoor facilities include a pergola, BBQ and chiminea.

Four bedrooms accommodate eight guests, with heated blankets in every bedroom. The master bedroom has storage and an ensuite bathroom. The main bathroom has a timber vanity, separate shower, bathtub and toilet. The in-unit laundry includes a washing machine, dryer, clothesline and iron. Wi-Fi, a workspace and a private entrance are available.
