The house

The open-plan living area has high ceilings, classic wooden shutters, bold artworks and original details. Both whitewashed bedrooms contain antiques and artworks. Bedroom 1 has one super king-size bed; Bedroom 2 has one double bed. The home has one bathroom with a bath and shower, plus a balcony.

Kitchen facilities include an electric oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, coffee maker, kettle and toaster. Other amenities include a ceiling fan, fireplace, TV, speakers or sound system, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, towels, smoke detectors and a carbon monoxide detector. Free internet is available.

Boutiques, bars and restaurants surround the home. Portobello Market is within walking distance, Kensington Gardens is within easy reach, and Notting Hill Gate tube station is around a seven-minute walk away.

There is no air-conditioning. Fans are provided in each bedroom between May and September; request fans for stays outside this period. Entrance access involves stairs, with no elevator. Babies, toddlers and children are accepted, but pets and smoking are not permitted. The coffee tables have glass tops that balance on their bases without being attached.

Some time after summer 2026, the property above is due to undergo refurbishment lasting several weeks. Exterior scaffolding, building activity, materials and noise will be noticeable from within the flat.
