House rules
The property is exclusively available to the renter for a full 30-day rental period; no one else may occupy it during that period. Online bookings require manager or owner approval. Maximum occupancy is 14, including adults, children and infants, or 10 without the Garage House. Additional occupants require approval and may incur a per-person daily charge. Unauthorized additional occupants incur a charge of $300 per night plus applicable taxes. A mandatory refundable security deposit of $10,000 covers damage, loss and approved account charges. It is held without interest and refunded within 21 days of departure, less applicable charges; any deductions are accompanied by a statement. Guests must follow the owner's supplied house rules and conditions.
Getting there
The estate is in Lanikai, 15 miles east of Waikiki. The beach cove provides easy access to reef-protected waters. Restaurants, groceries, shopping, golf, tennis and other activities in Kailua are within a 5–15-minute drive. Local buses serve the neighborhood, but a rental car or car service is highly recommended. A bicycle path connects to Kailua town. The primary bedroom requires a spiral staircase, and the Garage House accommodations are at tree level.
