Loud music is not allowed. Mild music may be played using guests' own portable speakers. Drivers and domestic helpers do not have separate accommodation and are charged as extra guests. Smoking and alcohol are allowed. Meals are available, with vegetarian, non-vegetarian and Jain options; meals may incur additional charges.
Getting there
Matheran is a vehicle-free zone. Vehicles can be parked at Dasturi Parking Zone at an additional cost. From Dasturi Point, guests can reach the manor on horseback, by hand-drawn cart or on foot.
