The house

The apartment accommodates four guests in Palazzo Bozzanca, a protected late-19th-century aristocratic building with Art Nouveau facade decorations on Via della Maestranza. The building is the twin of Palazzo Borgia in Piazza Duomo, on a street historically occupied by artisans and merchants. There is no elevator.

The living area has high vaulted ceilings, a double sofa bed and a dining table. Its fully equipped open kitchen includes an induction cooker, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, microwave, moka coffee maker, refrigerator and freezer. The bedroom has a queen-size bed and a double balcony. The bathroom has a double shower stall and a hairdryer.

Facilities include Wi-Fi, air conditioning, heat-pump heating, a washing machine and television. A water accumulator helps maintain the water supply during the hot season. Nearby scaffolding may cause daytime noise.

Forte Vigliena bathing platform is 50 metres away and Cala Rossa beach is 200 metres away; both are accessible from the fortified walls of Ortigia’s Levante waterfront. Catania Fontanarossa Airport is less than an hour’s drive away.
