House rules

The primary renter must be at least 27 years old. Smoking is not allowed. Additional guests and events are prohibited unless express approval is provided. Events, commercial activities, rotating guest groups and other non-traditional uses require prior written host approval and may incur additional fees and/or an increased security deposit. Pets require owner approval. The dog approval fee is $200 per dog per booking; additional fees and/or a security deposit may apply. Utility fees are included, but guests are responsible for excessive utility usage, defined as utility costs over $150.00 per night of the reservation. The currency for these dollar-denominated amounts is not identified. One light cleaning per eight nights booked and one end-of-stay cleaning are included. Additional cleanings are available at the guest's expense. In lieu of a security deposit, the property has up to $25,000 of damage protection, subject to the booking agreement; currency is not identified. Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. Following cancellation, reopening dates is at the owner's discretion. If the original dates are rebooked at the same or a higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the replacement reservation. If no replacement booking is made, guests may use the original dates if payments are current and written notice is provided at least 72 hours before arrival. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; payments over that amount must be by check, ACH or wire. Currency is not identified. The owner may arrange showings to prospective renters or buyers, with advance notice and efforts to schedule them during reasonable daytime hours.

Getting there

Beaches are a short drive away. Sleeping accommodation spans the main floor, second floor and lower level. The home is not handicap accessible. Outside Memorial Day to Labor Day, confirm outdoor furniture and equipment availability before booking; spring cleaning and updates typically take place in late April or early May.
