The house

Ocean Villa Emilie is a newly built contemporary home along Kalanianaole Highway, with steel, glass and sculptural concrete architecture and ocean and mountain views. The great room has two-story windows, designer seating and glass walls opening toward the outdoor areas. Multiple lounges include an upstairs living room with a full-size futon. A floating staircase and glass walkways connect parts of the home.

The indoor kitchen has a waterfall island, high-end appliances, espresso machine, wine fridge, food processor and a climate-controlled wine display. Kitchen equipment also includes a refrigerator, freezer, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, toaster oven, kettle, blender, rice cooker, coffee grinder and ice machine. The outdoor kitchen has a built-in grill and prep counters. All bedrooms and the kitchen have dropdown flat-screen TVs.

The primary bedroom has a king bed, ocean and garden views, blackout drapes and an ensuite bathroom. Guest Bedroom 2 has a king bed, partial ocean views, a balcony and an ensuite bathroom. Guest Bedroom 3 has queen and twin beds, water and garden views and an ensuite bathroom. Guest Bedroom 4 is a pool-house suite with a queen bed and ensuite bathroom. Guest Bedroom 5 is a former office with a twin bed and natural light. Central air conditioning is confirmed in the first four bedrooms. There is also a powder room.

Outdoor facilities include an infinity-edge pool overlooking the coastline, a separate lap pool, sun loungers, covered seating, a lawn, private yard, gardens, bedroom lanais and an outdoor shower. A private gym with panoramic views, home theater/media lounge, washer, dryer, garage, parking space and EV charger are available. The home has a private entrance, linens, hair dryer, safe, heating, fireplace and bathtub. Safety features include smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, a fire extinguisher, outdoor lighting, deadbolt lock and security cameras. Optional beach equipment rentals carry an additional charge.

Scenic coastal paths and shoreline access are within walking reach. Hanauma Bay, Sandy Beach, Makapu’u Beach, Kahala, Waikiki, Koko Head and Diamond Head are a short drive away. A car is necessary.
