The house

Designed by Hawai‘i architect Jim McPeak, Ocean House has approximately 8,800 sq ft of indoor-outdoor living space. The great room features 25-foot ceilings, an indoor waterfall, glass walls and disappearing pocket doors opening to the oceanside yard. A floating-step entrance and oversized pivot door lead into the home. The dining area overlooks the ocean, and the kitchen has premium appliances, a large island and breakfast nook. Kitchen equipment includes a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, blender, ice machine, wine fridge, rice cooker and mixer; a BBQ is also available.

Three oceanfront suites have ensuite bathrooms, lounge areas and views of Maunalua Bay. The upstairs primary suite includes a sitting room with a desk and private lanai access. The downstairs primary suite has an extended split-level layout and gym equipment. The detached guest cottage has a wet bar and an exterior courtyard entrance.

Outside are a private infinity-edge pool, hot tub, multiple lanais with dining and lounging areas, a private yard and an outdoor shower. A sand terrace below the yard has two chaise lounges, and a private path leads to the Portlock tide pools. Ocean views extend toward Diamond Head.

Central air conditioning, high-speed Wi-Fi, a washer and dryer, smart TVs, stereo and satellite or cable TV are available. Beach chairs, towels and mats, linens, starter amenities and a fitness area are provided. Beach equipment rentals are available for an additional charge. Security cameras are present.

Shoreline paths and local dining are within walking distance. Hanauma Bay, Koko Marina, Diamond Head and Waikiki are a short drive away. A minimum stay of 30 days applies. The property is for sale, and the property manager will contact guests to arrange showings at a convenient time.
