House rules
The primary renter must be at least 25 years old. Smoking is not allowed. Additional guests and events require express approval. Events, commercial activities and other non-traditional uses, including rotating groups during one stay, require prior written host approval and may incur additional fees or an increased security deposit. Utilities are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage, defined as utility costs over $115.00 per night of the reservation. For stays longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. One end-of-stay cleaning is included. Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. If cancellation dates are reopened at the owner's discretion and rebooked for the original dates at the same or higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the original reservation total is issued once the replacement reservation is paid in full. If no replacement reservation is made, guests may use their original dates if payments meet the agreed schedule and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before arrival. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; larger payments must be made by check, ACH or wire. In lieu of a security deposit, the property has up to $25,000 in damage protection, subject to the booking agreement. The owner may arrange showings to prospective renters or buyers with advance notice and efforts to schedule them during reasonable daytime hours.
Getting there
East Hampton Village is five minutes away. Nearby bay beaches and the village can be reached by bicycle. For stays outside Memorial Day to Labor Day, inquire before booking about outdoor furniture and equipment availability; seasonal cleaning and updates typically take place in late April or early May.
Check dates and price before continuing with the host. A check does not reserve your stay. Confirm the terms with the host at staymarquis.com.
