## About the house

Guests have exclusive access to the full apartment. The open-plan living and dining area has four tall windows, seascape and river artwork, a flat-screen TV, an L-shaped sofa and a dining area. The kitchen includes an oven, fridge, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster and coffee machine.

The master bedroom has a large bed, a neutral colour scheme and tall glass doors. The second bedroom has bunk beds with a double bed on the bottom bunk. The bathroom is along the corridor and has a large walk-in shower. Bed linen, cable TV and a carbon monoxide detector are provided.

The apartment is opposite Pannett Park, a short walk from the beach and a ten-minute walk from Whitby town centre. Pier Road has pubs, arcades and fish restaurants and leads to West Cliff Beach. Across the swing bridge over the River Esk, the East bank has narrow streets, shops and pubs, with the 199 steps leading to the Church of Saint Mary and Whitby Abbey nearby.

Whitby train station is less than half a mile away on foot, with a taxi rank nearby. Local bus services include the X4 to Sandsend, Runswick Bay and Staithes, the X93 to Scarborough, and the 95 serving villages including Grosmont and Lealholm.
