House rules

Maximum occupancy is eight; no additional guests are permitted. The primary renter must be at least 30 years old. Smoking is not allowed. Events are prohibited. Reservations involving events of any size, commercial activities, other non-traditional uses or rotating guest groups require prior written host approval and may incur additional fees and/or an increased security deposit. Pets require owner approval and may incur additional fees and/or a security deposit. Utilities are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage, defined as utility costs over $110.00 per night of the reservation. For stays longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. After cancellation, Marquis will use best efforts to work with the owner to reopen the dates, at the owner's discretion. If the original dates are rebooked at the same or a higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the new reservation is collected. If not rebooked, guests may use the original dates provided scheduled payments are made and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before arrival. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; larger payments must be made by check, ACH or wire. In lieu of a security deposit, the property includes up to $25,000 in damage protection, subject to the booking agreement. The owner may need to show the property to prospective renters or buyers, with advance notice and efforts to schedule reasonable daytime hours.

Getting there

A bay beach is blocks away. The home has multiple levels connected by stairs and is not handicap accessible. It is not suitable for unrelated guests. Outside Memorial Day to Labor Day, inquire before booking about pool, outdoor furniture and equipment availability; seasonal cleaning and updates typically occur in late April or early May.
