# Northern Star Corolla, NC, United States (general area) ## About the house The third-floor great room has vaulted ceilings, large windows, ocean views and a gas fireplace. The furnished living area connects to an equipped kitchen with two ovens, a dining area and a wet bar with a wine cooler. A lofted sitting area and outdoor decks offer additional ocean-view seating. The ground-floor recreation room has a pool table and a wet bar with a refrigerator and beverage refrigerator, plus a half bathroom. A hot tub sits on the middle-level deck. Other facilities include a charcoal grill, outdoor shower, streaming TV, beach chairs, laundry facilities, towels and bed linens. The Welcome Program provides starter supplies rather than supplies for the entire stay. The gas fireplace is available January 1–April 26 and October 10–December 31 in 2026, and January 1–April 24 and October 10–December 31 in 2027. The middle level has three ensuite bedrooms with covered-deck access and a fourth bedroom with a double bunk set. Two of these ensuites have standing showers; another has a standing shower and soaking tub. A separate full bathroom has a shower/tub combination. The top level has an ensuite bedroom with a standing shower and soaking tub, another bedroom with two twin beds, and a separate full bathroom with a standing shower. Both top-level bedrooms have deck access. There are six full bathrooms and one half bathroom in total. Corolla Light facilities include shared indoor and outdoor pools, a kiddie pool, tennis, pickleball and racquetball courts, a fitness center, walking trails and an oceanfront clubhouse. An in-season community trolley is available. Each guest needs a wristband to use community amenities; the home supplies 12 wristbands. Community facilities may have seasonal availability or usage fees. The home is directly beside the Oceanfront Pool Complex, which includes a walkway to the beach. Franklyn Street South Access is the named beach access. Shops and restaurants are within walking distance. Historic Corolla Village, the Whalehead Club and Currituck Beach Lighthouse can be explored across Route 12 from the Corolla Light Shops.
