# North Hollow Escape East Hampton, NY, United States (general area) ## About the house North Hollow Escape accommodates up to six guests in approximately 2,500 square feet. Open-plan common areas have high ceilings, floor-to-ceiling living-room windows, a piano, comfortable seating, plants, artwork and a gallery of theater posters. The kitchen has updated appliances, ample counter space and a microwave. The second floor has a king bedroom and a queen bedroom, each with air conditioning, an ensuite bathroom, a closet and a balcony/deck. The main floor has a queen bedroom with air conditioning, a TV and a closet, plus a bedroom with two double/full beds, air conditioning and a TV. All bedrooms have patio access. There are three full bathrooms with showers and tubs, plus a main-floor half bathroom. Outside, the back patio and private heated pool are accompanied by four lounge chairs, a table, chairs, an umbrella and a gas grill. Four beach chairs and a beach umbrella are available. The pool is fenced; the backyard is not. Bed linens, bath towels, pool/beach towels, a hair dryer, an iron/ironing board, heating, a fireplace, Wi-Fi, a washer and a dryer are provided. The home is child-friendly but has no crib and is not wheelchair accessible. Two bay beach accesses are a seven-minute walk away, including one homeowners’ association access included with the stay. Ocean beaches are a 13-minute drive away and require special passes; daily permits are available except on weekends. East Hampton restaurants are approximately 11–15 minutes away by car, and grocery stores are approximately an 11-minute drive away. Events, commercial activities and other non-traditional uses, including rotating guest groups, require prior written host approval and may incur additional fees or an increased security deposit. Reservations require approval before confirmation. One dog weighing 10 lbs or less is permitted for $500.00 per booking; the additional-fees schedule specifies $500 per dog per booking. Larger dogs, multiple dogs and other pets require express approval. Utilities are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage, defined as utility costs over $110.00 per reservation night. For stays longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest’s expense. Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. After cancellation, Marquis will try to work with the owner to reopen and rebook the original dates; reopening is the owner’s decision. If those dates are rebooked at the same or a higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the replacement booking is collected. If no replacement booking is made, guests may use their original dates provided scheduled payments have been made and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before the reservation begins. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; amounts above $3,500 must be paid by check, ACH or wire. In lieu of a security deposit, the property has up to $25,000 of damage protection, with coverage details in the booking agreement.
