The house

The single-level retreat has an open-plan living and dining area with a sectional sofa, a 65-inch smart TV and a surfboard dining table seating four. Floor-to-ceiling doors lead to a shaded private lanai with garden views and outdoor seating. The fully equipped kitchen includes stainless-steel appliances, a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher-free cooking essentials, coffee maker, toaster, blender and rice cooker, plus a breakfast bar.

The primary bedroom has memory-foam mattresses, a second 65-inch smart TV, a ceiling fan, central air conditioning and direct lanai access. Its ensuite full bathroom has mosaic tile; a bathtub and hot water are available. Additional sleeping is provided by a double air mattress.

Guests have access to three shared swimming pools, a community hot tub, BBQ grills, picnic areas and tropical courtyards. Beach towels, chairs, boogie boards, mats, an umbrella and a beach bag are provided. Other facilities include an outdoor shower, central air conditioning, Wi-Fi, an Ethernet connection, free parking and a shared paid laundry room accepting coins and cards.

Waipouli Beach is a short stroll away, and Coconut Marketplace offers shops, cafés and live music nearby. The Ke Ala Hele Makalae coastal path is nearby for cycling. Hanalei Bay, Poipu Beach and Waimea Canyon can be visited by scenic drive. A car is recommended.
