The house

The 5,100-square-foot property combines a five-bedroom main home and a two-bedroom guest apartment, with 5.5 bathrooms in total. Surrounding woods provide privacy, and the property has mountain and ski-slope views.

There are two full kitchens, one in each building, with a stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher and kitchen basics. Keurig and drip coffee makers are provided. A dining area and fireplace offer indoor gathering space. Central heating and air conditioning are thermostat-controlled; ceiling fans and hot water are also available.

Outdoor facilities include a private hot tub, saltwater pool, balcony/patio, garden/backyard, outdoor seating, fire pit and barbecue grill. Weather permitting, the pool opens seasonally from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Indoor recreation includes a game room, foosball table, projection movie screen, television with cable/satellite, board games and books.

Wi-Fi, two washer/dryers, parking for seven cars and a garage are available. The home has self check-in and a private entrance. Bed linens, extra pillows and blankets, towels, toiletries, a hair dryer, hangers and an iron are provided. Children are welcome; a high chair, baby safety gear, children's books and toys are available. Safety equipment includes smoke and carbon monoxide detectors and a fire extinguisher.

Sunday River Resort is two miles west of the property, with cross-country and downhill skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, ice skating and tubing nearby. The historic Sunday River Bridge, also known as Artist's Bridge, is two miles away down Sunday River Road. A car is necessary.
