The kitchen includes stainless steel appliances and a butcher-block island with seating for two; the adjacent dining area seats six. A living area has a wraparound couch, and a separate den has a brick fireplace, seating and a sleep sofa. The three bedrooms contain one king bed and two double/full beds. There are two full bathrooms and one half bathroom. Bed linens, bath towels, a hair dryer, hot water, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, a washer and a dryer are provided. Sliding doors open from the den to a deck with an outdoor grill and dining area. Steps lead down to the landscaped yard and private heated inground pool, with poolside loungers and seating. A backyard hammock and two bicycles are available. Town and the beach are within walking distance. Ditch Plains Beach is nearby, and The Crow’s Nest is a short walk away. Outdoor furniture and equipment may be unavailable outside Memorial Day to Labor Day; inquire before booking for off-season stays. The primary renter must be at least 30 years old. Reservations require approval before confirmation. Smoking is not permitted. Utility fees are included, but guests are responsible for excessive utility usage, defined as utility costs over $85.00 per reservation night. One end-of-stay cleaning is included. For stays longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest’s expense. Events of any size, commercial activities and other non-traditional uses, including rotating groups during one stay, require prior written host approval. Additional fees and/or an increased security deposit may apply. Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. If the owner agrees to reopen cancelled dates and the property is rebooked for the original dates at the same or a higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the replacement booking. If it is not rebooked, guests may use their original dates provided scheduled payments have been made and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before the reservation starts. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; payments above $3,500 must be made by check, ACH or wire. In lieu of a security deposit, the property has up to $25,000 of damage protection, with coverage details in the booking agreement.
