The house

Designed by James Cioffi and completed in 2014, the home occupies a corner lot minutes from downtown Palm Springs. The open-plan great room has polished concrete floors, high ceilings, clerestory windows and walls of glass opening to the pool yard. The living room includes a fireplace and smart TV. The kitchen has custom cabinetry, quartz countertops, a waterfall island seating four and Viking appliances; the adjacent dining area seats eight. Outdoor spaces include a connected spa, fire pit lounge, cushioned seating, shaded dining for ten, a built-in gas grill, overhead misting, shade sails and cornhole. Three bedrooms are in the main home, with a fourth sleeping area in the detached casita.
